Talon (Australia - 11394) can be removed from the list. Their demo surfaced on the Heavy Metal Rarities forum. Turned out to be already on the site, also.
Thanks.

Ravish: Listed on the site as Ravish Warriors. Either a minor name change or a mistake on the original site.

The project is blacklisted most likely for being too centred noisecore than grindcore however I am trying to find the 2021 release and see if is more clearcut for inclusion on this site. Anyone able to find files for "Delusional Blasphemies Destroyed"? Looks like a lot of the first release but who knows, maybe the riffs on this version are more metallic at least.

Needs research. - Theater
Location: Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan
Listed Genre: Heavy Metal
Band members: Tobisawa (Vocals)
Discography: At least one demo tape, late ‘80’s
Discogs: None
Note: Whilst looking for more on the other ‘80’s Utsunomiya band ‘Thrill ‘ (#1965 on this list) on old music blogs, I found another metal band in the city in the same period who apparently also released a few demos. Not sure if this one is spelt correctly – they may use the UK spelling (Theatre), or even the Japanese katakana “シアター” [spoken as “Shiataa”] (though these are usually mostly used to help Japanese speakers to pronounce foreign words more or less correctly), or possibly even both (like ‘Curtain Rail’ here: https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/%E ... 3540533162 ). Their best known song was apparently called ‘Open the Theater’.

Need samples and proof of VR

Should not Iapetus be removed? I commented that nothing was released under that name with info straight from the successor band.

Is there a policy on newer bands that delete all their posts? I've been checking on the 'check back later' bands and some of them have pruned their music and socials. Misantry for examples has had everything taken down.

Purgatory (9594 or 9593, not sure which one...): The discogs page is entirely incorrect. The band pictured is not 'Purgatory', but 'Punisher', a listed band. Should be removed.

I'd say for these types of bands it's fine to just remove them from the list if they vanish without any indication as to qualifying for MA.

Awakened: Samples. Solid stuff, makes me want to do more but info is scant besides a bunch of unofficial download sites.

Alexandre (guitars)
- article in "Metal Blood" #4 (1989/'90): https://imgur.com/a/YHfxQ7K
The article above compares their sound to Slayer and Sodom, and says that they recorded an unofficial demo with the songs "Victim of Destiny", "Fill or Die" (possibly a typo of "Kill or Die"), "Mong Four Walls", and "Wear Minds".
Referenced in this article for the band Scud, which Fawster (R.I.P. 2022) went on to play in.
https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scud_(banda)

I submitted the band. Today a release from the band came to light confirming that the demo revised in the fanzine Metal Blood #4 was published to several fans and to other fanzines in Brazil. The review is in Portuguese, but I translated the part where it is mentioned, and I put the link to the original release in the notes for moderation.
I also commented on something that I've heard quite frequently in the interviews I do with (former) members of bands that were active in the 80s, which is that everyone used the term for official demo as studio demo, but they always considered demos rehearsals as an integral part - so much so that they released these recordings - of their discographies, as going into the studio to record in Brazil wasn't easy and was quite expensive.

Submitted the following today:
М.Ч.С.
Hematoma
Talum
Inhuman Betrayal
Skaffold

Recall: I found some interesting developments on this band. Two members renamed the band to Recallium, a minor name change. This is verified by the album sharing track titles and members. I'm gonna submit Recall under this later name.

Scapegoats: Apparently this is the band. Sounds more rock centric.

I think I meant to do this. I have some info on the band (very little but it might help), and I might be able to find some songs or something.

Sounds fine to me at a glance. Skimming through it there's certainly non-metal ballads, but also standard heavy metal.

Unrelated, I purchased the Oddyssey CD.

Lazybones: No VR according to uploader.
https://imgur.com/a/h2p8WH1

Paincorp: I think this should be removed based on the music. I spoke with the band and they produced two demos. Problem is that the more metal music from this band and was on the demo that wasn't "really releaesd", and the second demo is more hardcore/nu-metal sounding.

Damage (10324): Should be removed. Found the other track and it's not even close to metal like the other.

Evading the Enemy - Sydney, NSW, Australia.
I have confidence this is the same band. Was already rejected on the Triple J Unearthed tracks provided but I am looking to find the CD here and see if it fits the site's criteria. Listed on Discogs as Death Metal,Thrash (could be wrong) but what I hear on TJU sounds like Metalcore/Deathcore.

https://www.discogs.com/release/1288874 ... -Treachery
https://www.abc.net.au/triplejunearthed ... ing-enemy/

Daisetta - Sydney, NSW, Australia
Another Sydney based deathcore band I had rejected. I submitted a video and the one track but the EP teaser seems to show all the breakdowns so yeah not that helpfu. Ordered a CD off of big cartel but the band seems long dead so yeah $10 down the drain lol. Hoping the full EP if I can get it is more death than core. One off song I could find sounds borderline acceptable.

Mtsiri: The eastern bloc channel that uploaded the 1990 recording says it was never officially released.

The Opponent Process: Found lots of live footage. Should be enough to submit.

Lay To Waste: Found samples. Will submit.

Lot: Prog/Alt/Hard Rock. Reverb mentions Metal, but the youtube doesn't. If someone thinks it's worth keeping for the full-length then please let me know.
