Im looking for any good BDM or some death/thrash from Brazil! Ive been listening to alot of Sanatorio, and even some Krisiun and looking for bands along those lines. Sanatorio have some of the most evil sounding death metal that I have ever heard!

Well, I'd be surprised if you never listened to Sarcofago and their AMAZING album I.N.R.I, it's a fucking classic.

In general, I read on here that there is a sub genre of early black/thrash bands that put out stuff from 84-87 referred to as bands from the B.E.E.S. period (Braziil-Eighty Four-to Eighty Seven-Sound).

Along with Sarcofago there is of course, early Sepultura, as well as Vulcano, Mutilator and Holocausto, all of which are amazing bands you should check out.

There's also Goat Penis, who is a newer War Metal/extreme Black Death band who I LOVE, and they are about as extreme as it gets in terms of Brazilian death metal IMO so I bet you will love them.

Mental Horror seconded... "Proclaiming Vengeance" is a vicious album (production's terrible, though).

Check out a lot of the bands on Cogumelo records as they typically fit the description you are looking for. Many of the 80s dirty death/thrash bands like Mutilator, Chakal, Sepultura (morbid Visions), Sarcofago, Witchhamer and Vulcano were on their roster I think. They are still going with bands that fit this mold as well though they tend to have more modern production jobs. I think all the bands I am listing links for are on that label.

Headhunter D.C. isn't bad for death metal. Somewhat thrashy.

Sarcasmo has some good stuff. Thrashy death metal.

Awesome! I will have to look into this record label to see if they have cassettes and vinyl!
