I'm not sure if it would fit in this catagory, or if the title is too general or whatnot so forgive me. I am currently starting an essay paper, which I decided to do on Metal. I was given the topic of the top ten most important metal albums to date, which is quite the daunting task when you look at the each and every contribution to the melting pot.

Anyways, I'd GREATLY appreciate it if you guys would throw me your lists and/or ideas (Try to include all genres, from Prog to "Death n' Roll"). I've already been kicking around some Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath, Venom's Black Metal, etc., but I realize that these are somewhat obvious...

Though to be honest, if you can't come up with such a list, you have no business even doing an essay on metal. I'd have a hard time choosing *only* 10...
