Don't know if this topic should be on here, but Im looking for soundtracks from games. Basically, the songs I enjoy the most are really powerful and inspirational and happy, not dramatic or depressive. For example, this song from SC2 had a great asian vibe to it and it always made me feel good after playing the level.

I don't know if NES and SNES are too old for you, but I know of some songs from those games that are powerful, inspirational, and happy, so I'll give it a shot:

SNES:

Chrono Trigger - Frog's Theme
Final Fantasy IV - Red Wings
Super Castlevania IV - Simon's Theme (it doesn't get "happy" until about 16 seconds in)
Final Fantasy IV - Boss Battle
Final Fantasy VI - Edgar and Sabin
Chrono Trigger - Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy VI - Cyan's Theme
Secret of Mana - Calm Before the Storm
Secret of Mana - Flight into the Unknown

NES: (if you're not old enough to be familiar with this system, it's really primitive sound technology, just to warn you in advance)

Castlevania II - Bloody Tears
Ninja Gaiden - Act 4 Part 2
Mega Man 2 - Metal Man's Theme

Thanks for the recs, but I think the one's I particularly enjoyed were the Secret Of Mana ones. Though, I'm looking for something a little more recent. The other one's were mostly preparation themes, and songs before the actual battle.

If modern, orchestral OST's count, there are few things that beat the soundtrack to Journey by Austin Wintory. It's not all happy (the game itself has emotional peaks and valleys) but it ends on a blissful note and it's stunningly beautiful throughout. Of course, my listening to it is always affected by associating it with the game, but from what I've heard it stands quite well on its own.

(I apologize for the lack of Youtube links, but I'm at work and don't have access to it).

The Zelda games always had decent soundtracks to them, a mixture of intrigue and swirling happiness of exploring the world ...I can't pinpoint any particular tracks now, but for a general feel give this a listen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qkYSuWSPkHI

Touhou deserves a mention:

If you don't like the instrumentation, you could always try some of the many, many arrangements.

1:12 is when the actual song starts the beginning is some weird beat that doesn't really have much to do with the song

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIWZ06Sin8U

The OST for every single Ratchet and Clank game is free online on their official website, it's great stuff too.

Universe at War, by the great Frank Klepacki (of Command and Conquer fame)!

The whole thing is available for free download.
