Looking for atmospheric stuff similar to Shining and Lifelover. Self-explaining sound. Emotional stuff. Very depressive. Very unique. But if you listen to them, they won't bore the living shit out of you when you're half through the album. Unlike most depressive black metal. Even though they are kinda depressive black metal. Kinda rock-ish, too. Don't know. Can you recommend me some similar stuff? Any suggestions?

Miserere Luminis - s/t
Amesoeurs - s/t

The former is a combination of two Canadian depressive BM bands (Gris and Sombre Forets) plays an interesting mix of styles. Rooted in depressive BM, but with clean production and lots of quieter atmospheric sections.

The latter is a mix of DBM and post-punk, not unlike Lifelover, but with some post-rock thrown in.

I forgot to mention Hateful Abandon. Basically Joy Division plus DBM.
