Between the Buried and Me have some Pink Floyd sounding moments imo, though how metal they are questionable.

If you're looking for something similar to their later material, I recommend Anathema's "Eternity" and "Alternative 4".

If you're looking for something similar to "The Wall", I recommend W.A.S.P.'s "The Crimson Idol".

As for stuff similar to their psychedelic early material, I wouldn't know.

Tiamat 'A Deeper Kind of Slumber' (1997)

Enslaved 'Vertebrae' (2008)

Hammers of Misfortune 'Fields/Church of Broken Glass' (2008)

All incredible albums that infuse a heavy Pink Floyd influence with their original styles.

Othyrworld, a psychedelic traditional/power metal voyage into the celestial. Take 70's Priest and mellow the hell out of them and you've got a rough approximation of their sound.

Seconding Alchemist. Especially their later stuff. Organasm and Austral Alien are very Floyd in nature.
Also seconding Porcupine Tree, though they're not that metal in reality. You'll have to be in the right mood to get some of their stuff, but when you do, they're great.
And now to throw DSOTM back on and trip out to Time. Groovy.

many of the vocal parts on Arcturus' "Sideshow Symphonies" remind me of the more manic side of "The Wall". Could be just a personal view but if you have time - check this album out...

Check out the last Nokturnal Mortum CD. Enslaved also has some Pink Floyd elements, but I'm not sure on which album(s).

You're definitely looking for this Spaceboy CD: http://www.amazon.com/Getting-Warm-Trai ... 335&sr=8-1

The :30 second samples don't do the songs justice, but it's highly influenced by Pink Floyd.

I was looking for something similar to pink floyd a while back (as they are one of my all time favorite bands) and was shown UFOmammut-Snailking.

This record absolutely swells with the floyd atmosphere. Its very spacey and just kind of "out there". If you like floyd and Electric Wizard (which they have many striking similarities to) i think youll love this album.

I don't really hear it, but a lot of people say that later Nachtmystium has some PF influence, so maybe you'd enjoy that.

Nachtmystium! This should have been like the first one listed!

Get Assassins: Black Meddle Pt. 1. The part 2 is to be released soon as well..

sheiam44, what you should invest in are the albums "British Standard Approved" and "The Plague" by Demon. It is metallic hard rock with heavy influences from Pink Floyd and Rush. Here's their MA page:

http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=575

Not all their material sounds like that, but those two do.

Sequenzen Einer Wanderung by Nocte Obducta.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmZpRBoSSyw

They might have other similar stuff, but I haven't listened to anything else in their discography yet.

Neurosis, Cult of Luna, Isis, Rosetta, Monolith are pretty trippy and progressive. I love Neurosis but they are definitely out there.

Om ( http://metal-archives.com/band.php?id=33472), reminds me of their early output, especially the bass work and some of the vocals.

Nachtmystium is one of the more obvious picks.
Neurosis : The Eye of Every Storm & A Sun That Never Sets.
5ive : Psychedelic/Acid influence in the vein of early Pink Floyd.
