Trying to locate bands that have that.. Edge of Sanity/Dan Swano can do.. progressive metal with synth and keyboard effects, any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Well if your looking for prog with lots of synth you should try Devin Townsend.

Riverside and... Rush is exatcly the same as Dan Swanö, but without the Dan's Gutural Vocals, and with the Geddy Lee's Duck Vocals. :lol:
