Hey all, I'm looking for some 8bit-tinged metal (preferably power, IDK if any other metal-and-8bit combo even makes sense).

Obviously, Machinae Supremacy is charted territory, as well as flavors of DragonForce and Crimson Shadows.
My ideal is this Dragon Guardian song:

Thanks a ton!

Master Boot Record is the only thing you need.

Norrin Radd is chiptune death metal with a really cool bandname. https://mattcreameraudio.bandcamp.com/album/anomaly

The blurb is interesting:
Quote:
Four years in the making, Anomaly is a concept album following a mortal traveler exposed to the horrors of infinite time and space. Musically, Anomaly weaves together the genres of technical death metal, prog rock, and thrash into extremely complex and anomalous arrangements. Technically, Anomaly is a hand crafted tribute to the style and sound of the Nintendo Entertainment System, following all of the same limitations imposed by the original hardware. Vocals have also been painstakingly converted (not processed) in to the authentic 1bit DPCM format used on the NES. Answering the question: What would death metal have sounded like on the NES?

Got me some Urizen, Trawnsunblat, Master Boot Record, and even Norrin Radd's Anomaly. I'm not much of a death metal guy, but sometimes. All these bands/albums are REALLY good, thanks a bunch!
