Besides Nile, what Death Metal or Black Metal bands can anyone recommend that have a strong Egyptian influence in their sound? I'm talking about like guitar rhythms that sound like Egyptian Music, hard to explain what I mean really. Just basically Egyptian sounding death metal, or Black Metal

I'm not really sure if they're amazingly Egyptian themed, but Aeon of Horus are damn good.

though more generally arabic you could like these, as egyptian and middle eastern flair aren't very far away from each.
both show the influences mainly in the percussion and not too strongly in guitars but have a try

NecronomicoN (CAN) - The Silver Key MCD and only this record from that band. Total Nile worship.

Aarni maybe. He, like Nile, dabbles in Egyptian and Cthonic mythologies. I've listened to his albums numerous times and while interesting they sort of fail to grab my attention enough to notice riffing tendencies.

Melechesh are a bit more Persian than Egyptian but I'm sure it'll suit your purposes too. Check out "Emissaries".

Some more:
Scarab, death metal from Egypt.
Odious, melodic black metal from Egypt.
Khert-Neter, death metal from Finland.
Blood of Kingu, black metal from Ukraine.
Aeternam, black/death metal from Canada. Not that great but worth checking.
Kartikeya, black/death metal from Russia.

Though not black or death metal, you might like Amarna Sky. traditional doom from Brazil with a guest appearance from Karl Sanders in of their tracks.

The Ajna Offensive unveils a manifold collaboration in sound and image, presenting all original songs and artworks, crafted with the exclusive aim of evoking the Powers of the Sphinx: To Know, To Will, To Dare, To Keep Silent.

The allegory of the Sphinx points to Man. Both are composed of the four Elements, but in Man they exist in different proportions and are unbalanced, while in the Sphinx the Elements are harmonious and synergistic. The Sphinx represents the perfected Man, the Magus. The Four Powers of the Sphinx are "the four words of the Magus," the "four indispensable conditions" which bring Man to the state of perfection and balance.

The Aural journey is taken forth in logical sequence by Saturnalia Temple, Nightbringer, Nihil Nocturne & Aluk Todolo, each of whom heralds their respective Power with commensurate gnosis.

“To learn how to will is to learn how to exercise dominion. But to be able to exert will power you must first know; for will power applied to folly is madness, death, and hell.” (Lévi)

To Know- Saturnalia Temple (Sweden)
To Will- Nightbringer (United States)
To Dare- Nihil Nocturne (Germany)
To Keep Silent- Aluk Todolo (France)

First issued as an LP- limited to 500 copies with 12 page booklet, full 6 color printing and silver vinyl.
Later to be issued as a very affordable CD.

The AJNA Offensive. Winter Solstice, 2009.

Nile worship? I think not at all, at least on Pharaoh of Gods. Kind of a more Morbid Angel-esque type of dm without all the technical wankery, constant blasts and rolls.

After Death and early Nocturnus (demos). Nothing like Nile but they do it for me when reading about ancient Ægypt.

As I say in every Egyptian metal rec thread, check out Sarpanitum's Despoilment of Origin. The Melechesh, Necronomicon, and Lykathea Aflame recommendations are seconded as well.

SepticFlesh, although not mainly based on Egyptian Mythology is one of the best bands with an Oriental and Dark Symphonic touch and pull it off better than any Egyptian themed band in my opinion. They are the sole reason for my interest in this theme of Metal.
