I mean, 'bands like' the title, but there's not room to type that.

Later Gathering might also be OK but I haven't heard it yet. I have heard a bit of 3rd and the Mortal and it also seems potentially alright. In general, less goth is better though.

later gathering is ok but not really up to the standard set by mandylion, nighttime birds etc. More rock then gothic/whatever they were back in the day. Still a few excellent tracks scattered around, though.

..I have no recommendations, but I'm curious to see what this thread brings up.

Sinphonia, specially The Divine Disharmony album. Proggier and slightly heavier than The Gathering, the vocalist sounds like a more adventurous Anneke.
