Hi all!
I'm looking for bands of any metal genre with guitar melodies similar to the folkier ones used by Suidakra, Slough Feg, or the solo on Tyr's song Valhalla.

First i have to admit my ignorance: i'm not sure if "celtic music" it's even a proper term, so feel free to correct me!
...i just hope i gave the right idea

Small disclaimer: I'm looking for guitar-driven stuff, so i'm not interested in bands with the "standard folk metal" approach with the guitars in the background

Thanks a lot!

Thanks! Unfortunately it seems more on the gloomy irish side (like Primordial) and i don't like the singer, but few sections fit :)

I really liked this album by Triddana, which broke off from Skiltron. Pretty riff driven, and reminded me of Suidakra at times with the melodies but not really melodeath.

Got the band for you, more black metal really than trad based, but many folk influenced riffing.
