Sorry if i am commiting some mistake by starting this content or if i am forgetting something.

My intentions are to obtain alternative metal recommendations by describing the specific characteristics that i am looking for a band.

I listened discographies (by complete):Faith No More,Rage Against The Machine,Biohazard,Limp Bizkit,Soundgarden and Alice in Chains (I wouldn't name these two last names, but Wikipedia states they are alternative metal,so i mentioned them).

I am listening to:Korn,Living Colour,Stuck Mojo,Clawfinger,System of a Down,Slipknot,Tool,Godsmack,Kittie and nu metal Sepultura works (Like Roorback and Rooots, but i consider them more groove).

It's not my intention force people to listen alternative stuff or talking about that.I am just looking for recommendations. To be honest,i am looking for some rap metal artists. But i accept bands that sound like the main alternative artists too.I am looking for funk metal artists too.

Hookah The Fuzz - good stuff that's pretty moder-sounding and rather adventurous. And funky.

Prong - at best, groovy post-punk stuff.

Some obvious names here - not all have rapping.

Albums with rapping
- Cypress Hill - Skull & Bones (two disc album - I believe the second disc is rap rock orientated. Some of their other albums might be guitar heavy too - been a while since I've listened).
- (hed) PE - Broke (they have quite a lot of albums - this is their most notable. Could be worth checking others out if you like this).
- Kid Rock - Devil Without a Cause (should mention half of this album doesn't have heavy guitars, and some of the riffs are more rooted in rock than metal, but still worth listening. Also check out The History of Rock and Cocky if you like this, although the latter is when he really started to stray into hard rock / country territory)
- Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory (pretty tame guitar wise, but good songs)
- Papa Roach - Infest (has some really cool guitar work)

Other nu / alt acts
American Head Charge
Coal Chamber
Deftones (first 2-3 albums, plus the song Back to School)
Dry Kill Logic
Guano Apes (first three albums. Has a bit of rapping now and then. Good rhythm section)
Ill Nino (first two albums mainly)
Mudvayne
Nothingface
P.O.D.
Spineshank
Staind
Trust Company
The Union Underground

I liked Dub War's first album "Pain", a good mix of metal/punk with ragga and dub influences. They evolved into Skindred who are still going, but I haven't kept up with them to be honest.

A few I forgot about

Powerflo (only got one album - features Sen Dog from Cypress Hill, Billy from Biohazard, and Christian who used to be in Fear Factory)
Billybio (minimal hip hop influence, but it's Billy from Biohazard, so figure you might be interested)
Machine Head (albums - The Burning Red, Supercharger, Catharsis)
Soulfly (first two albums at least)
One Minute Silence
Mushroomhead (XIII is their best album, plus XX, which is a compilation of stuff from their first few albums)
