Hi! I know many bands but i just cannot find something new. Can you recommend me something heavy and fast? Something to headbang to, good if it can be also Progressive metal.
I want rather thrash metal, fast groove metal or melodic death metal than slower groove metal. Maybe some band that is known but i didn't know about them or never listened to.
Thanks in advance!

You might want to be a little more specific. For example, what have you listened to before as reference? What era of metal, and what kind of style other than the genre itself?

How do you feel about Sad Ex? They're old school death metal with a good touch of thrash in them, and their production is pretty sinister:

I've listened to Down - NOLA, and Amon Amarth - Twilight Of The Thundergod haha. Also in Flames - Colony is pretty good.
I just want something i didn't know about, something heavy, with good guitar solos, technical drums, good lyrics. Maybe some known melodic death metal bands excluding In Flames, Dark Tranquility and At The Gates? I like Arch Enemy, I love Amon Amarth, Soilwork is sometimes good.

I think Nightrage might be something you'd enjoy. Give them a shot. Give the first album a go and see what you think.

Skymning for me stood the test of time, as I can still listen to their debut CD with pleasure.
