also as far as wankery, the top wank album i can think of is The Human Transcription by Felix Martin. guitar tap insanity set to the beat of speeches of famous historical figures, it makes me a bit nauseous, but this is the most tech think i can think of. i dont think felix has a page here, but i would call this metal enough.
