Hi guys.

I'm willing to listen to recent bands which are catchy, those which will get stuck on your head the whole day and make you want to listen to them again
It would be good if one could tell the songs apart of each. Like when you listen to it you know "oh, this is song a, oh this is song b" So... I don't want one of those albums which you listen to as a whole and everything kinda sounds the same, but rather I want every track to have its charm.
Finally I'm asking for non-metal here because I feel like metalheads somehow know the best non-metal recs =p

I don't want to cite any examples yet because I don't want the replies to get biased, like "oh, he wants something similar to that" No... I want anything that is annoyingly catchy and recent

So... Any good recs?

Well, there is this Soen band with their newest summer-hit-wonder song Opal, which is constantly rotating in my rotting head :D Simple and catchy song for yelling out loud.

Would something from 2014 be too old?

A friend of mine who's really into hardcore convinced me to listen to Beartooth's debut album Disgusting. (2014, so fairly recent.) I thought I was gonna hate it, but it ended up growing on me. The catchiest parts of the songs are the choruses ("The Lines", "In Between"), though there's definitely heaps of heavier songs ("I Have a Problem", "Sick and Disgusting") which might appeal to metalheads. And their vocalist, Caleb, has got quite an impressive high scream. I also listened to their newest album (Aggressive, I think it was) and found it slightly less breathtaking, but the debut is actually worth checking out if you're alright with hardcore.

Spite, another hardcore band, had a new album last year. It's much heavier than Beartooth and has no clean singing. A bit more on the 'deathcore'-ish side, but definitely not metal. Super catchy rhythms and breakdowns and angry lyrics.

Medina: Well you look adorable. It really brings out your eyes.
