I'm looking for more modern bands that play NWOBHM but focuses more on heavier riffing, almost like Kill em all but not all the way thrash. And has forsook the ballads and radio friendly songs. The new Cloven Hoof and Desolation Angels were halfway what I'm looking for but maybe heavier and doesn't have to be old bands, newer bands are welcome. Like a modern day Loose N Lethal or Court in the Act? Hope I got this across right, thanks!

Taipan from Australia and their albums "Snakes" and "Metal Machine". Old school songs with a modern edge to them. They were a pleasant surprise a while ago when I was checking out the old '80's early '90's Aussie metal scene.

Checked out Taipan, definitely what I was looking for!! Hard to find their material, but it will be worth it. Thank you!!

Chain are a band I used to enjoy a lot but they only have a demo out at the moment sadly. I'd say their riffs are pretty good though the vocals can be occasionally grating.
