I've been always wondering about that but never got the time to discover it myself..so give me some of your favourite death and black metal from Japan.

The most obvious answer would probably be Sigh—A black metal band that used to be signed to Deathlike Silence Productions.
Their album debut 'Scorn Defeat' is good. I don't know about the later releases.

Intestine Baalism. Melodic Death Metal with a very unique riffing style, brutality and sweet armonics mixed perfectly.

If you want weird black metal Japan has got that covered. There's Sigh, of course. Gonin-Ish plays kind of in the same vein though there's less black metal (MA calls them "extreme").

Sabbat is also one that can't be missed. both death and black overtones, with thrash too

Coffins - colossal crushing Death Doom.
Defiled - Technical death metal in the vein of Gorguts and Cryptopsy.
Catasexual Urge Motivation - Not Death Metal exactly but one of my favourites, bizarre cyber gore-grind.
Multiplex - Unusual industrialised Death/Grind sounds, mix of FETO and Godflesh with some interesting songwriting, apparently an influence on Discordance Axis.
Hellchild - Initially played death/thrash, later stuff is sludgier more core influenced Death/Grind.
Vomit Remnants - Ultra thuggish Brutal Death/slam, kind of like a more simplistic and groove oriented Dying Fetus/Soils of Fate.
Gorevent - Neanderthal and crushing slam
Infected Malignity - Technical Brutal Death/slam, their last ep was more Deathcore though.
Infernal Revulsion - ex-Infected Malignancy, first album is solid bdm/slam, second lp was more technical Brutal death metal.
Jenovavirus - Brutal death metal/deathcore with a weird atmosphere and some interesting electronic embellishments, only released a demo but quite unique.
Blunt Force Trauma - ex-Jenovavirus doing Dying Fetus-esque hxc influenced Brutal death metal.

Edit: forgot Gibbed - raw grinding old-school death metal.
And Goats - unusual death/thrash with a sort of voivodian/older meshuggah vibe

Desecravity is some well done tech brutal death if that is your thing.

Anatomia is very good thick and heavy death/doom

Coffins is one of the more well known death metal bands from this region. Very heavy, stench filled groovy death metal. Buried Death is a fantastic album.

Mononfu is some very cool Samurai themed death/thrash.

Eroded is pretty obscure, but some well done OSDM. Not much OSDM from this region.

They Might not have the most traditional Black Metal sound but i quite like Ethereal Sin they are more along the Melodic/Symphonic Black Metal

Check NECROPHILE !!
Death / Thrash Metal as it's best! Members of TRANSGRESSOR, COFFINS among others playing there!
They are releasing their debut full length in September via UNHOLY PROPHECIES from Germany.

Here you can listen to one song of the debut album:

Since no one has mentioned Transgressor yet i will. (Older Death/doom)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gf6y0mOabvo

Maggoty Corpse is another of these older Death metal bands, they later became C.S.S.O. (Grind n Roll)

Butcher ABC, Gore Beyond Necropsy, Infected Malignant, Flagaticious Idiosyncrasy In the Dilapidation, Gorevent, and Throb of Offal are all Japanese.
I also recommend looking into the Noise and Hardcore Punk scene there too :)
