Looking for other bands/albums similar to My Dying Brides Turn Loose the Swans.

Im familiar, a little, with Paradise Lost and Anathema so please dont say them unless its a specific album.

Have you also listened to the album MDB put out before TLTS, As the Flower Withers? it's a little bit more straightforward, and heavier on the death side of death/doom. It's my favorite MDB album though.

Check out Saturnus--they're really good at the same kind of moody doom/death metal.

AtFW is probably my least favorite with TLTS/SoDWoL are my personal favorites. I believe my dislike of most death/doom is that the majority of what Ive heard lack that little 'gothic' touch that make MDB unique.

Ya, Winter is great but I always got a CF vibe from them not MDB.

I will listen to the others you suggested. Starting with Cryptal Darkness, so far pretty good, almost like a MDB clone/worship?
