Hello! I am looking for examples of metal or hard rock songs where bongos, or other alternative percussion instruments, keep the beat instead of a traditional drum kit. Not looking for things like Planet Caravan or instances where a band is mellowing out. Any genre is cool. Thanks!

How about Acrania? Not the UK brutal death metal/deathcore outfit, I'm talking about the Mexican prog/experimental salsa/latin/death/thrash metal hybrid one, pretty original & interesting stuff:
