I come to you now with the quest to find the holy grail that is: an above decent modern rock/metal band or maybe grunge. Think Lamb of God or maybe Machine Head, but ya know....better. I wish I could give an example of what Im looking for but I really haven't heard such a thing. Any help is appreciated.

Sevendust's new album is pretty killer.
Malrun is a Danish modern metal band with great vocalist.
Mercenary-also Danish, new album seems pretty good and riffy.
