Can anyone recommend me albums that are a mix of strictly Walls of Jericho and Ride The Lightening? Obvious and no so obvious underground choices? Off the top of my head nothing comes to mind.

I don't think any band was influenced by both those releases, but you might find a band who was influenced by both of those bands' influences at the time.

As such the Heathen rec makes sense to me.

Maybe also something like early Paradox?

I forgot about the Heathen, thanks for that!! And I will have to revisit early Paradox it seems.

Yea, Paradox - Heresy was the first thing that came to my mind when I read the title. Produced my Harris Johns who did Walls of Jericho, but it's a thrashier album compared to WoJ.
