Well, haven't posted here in a LONG-ass while. Centurian just put out a new album, and I think its fucking incredible. They really picked up right where they left off, and have even improved. "Feast of the Cross" is my favorite track right now; it's like the answer to Morbid Angel now being... well... we'll leave that for another day.

This shit is incredible, I really suggest you all give it a listen.

I think it's good but it doesn't compare to the first two. It sounds like a combination of the Nox and Centurian styles to me. I recommend it though. Centurian doesn't seem to get much love around here, however.

Centurian has always been for me the best band trying the Morbid Angel-Formulas/Covenant styled death metal. I would say this new album easily rapes Liber Zar Zax and everything released under the Nox moniker, but the best will remain to be Choronzonic Chaos Gods. I miss Seth's lead singing and Wim's drumming, but Rob's riffs are ripping as ever, the 'new' vocals are quite good anyway (especially combined with Seth's), the songwriting is excellent, so is the production.

I only hope they'll remain as Centvrian for the longest time.

I listened to their new album out on Spotify after reading the review on this site. Pretty good stuff. Some great riffs on there. I will be checking out the other albums in due course.

quite liked nox and the older centurian material. Will investigate this eventually.
Will prob skip on seeing them live at the coming neurotic deathfest as i already have seen them on both of the last 2 editions.
