Seems like there may be people who say its on the edge of metalcore and hardcore.

Didn't hear much of metal riffing there. It's like a noier version of Biohazard or somthing... So, hardcore... Heaviness alone doesn't make music metal.

Looks like they are blacklisted, so someone has tried to submit them already.

Seems outrageous that you wouldn't include this band.

I like it. I can definitely hear some Napalm Death influence in there, especially from some of the more recent albums, which I'm a big fan of. Maybe the blacklist is based on earlier material?

Just sounds like slightly skronky grindy modern hardcore to me, some metal influences, but not metal. Which would put them in that gray area where it's basically a coin flip whether they qualify or not.

A cool and fun listen so thanks for that, but almost certainly not Metal by this site's definition. Occasional nods to Thrash but most of the riffs are pretty obviously from a hardcore lineage.

I absolutely love Wasted Death but they're clearly rooted in hardcore.

This is hardcore, but there are a couple of bands that sound like this in the archives, so I don't know what the criteria are with a band like this. I would add them, but it is not up to the forum/board to decide.

A mix of many influences (crusty, punky, hardcore-ey, some thrashy riffs here and there) which means it probably won't go on here like say Gridiron and other bands. I like it so far though as I've been warming up to a lot more -core and other genres lately :)

It’s very d beat and metalcore, actually converge mostly. But there are trash and death metal nods in there as well. Do not hear much grind core.

Converge is already pretty metal and the thrash and death growls here should suffice to have this band qualify.

Possibly one thing that has been missed by this forum is how tightly punk and hardcore were related in the early days.

Yeah, but as time went on hardcore had much more in common with metal than with punk.
