I couldn't believe my eyes...Nickelback has been added to Encyclopedia Metallum...Nickelback??!! What the fuck, people??!! Never thought I would see the day that the standards of Encyclopedia Metallum sink so low. What's next? Britney Spears?

It would be interesting to make some kind of chain out of all of this. So if Britney Spears was added next April 1st, then who would people fear this would allow in next? Eventually we would end up finding the most abhorred band on the Metal Archives.

How do people even find out Nickelback are on the metal archives? I mean, yeah, the first few minutes they're featured under "last added bands", but then what? I didn't know about it 'til I checked the forums today, and I can't believe the utter stupidity of people who react so negatively they have to spit out some rant about how the webmasters have become pussies, when in fact they
a) haven't checked what date it is
b) haven't checked the forums for an explanation (you were hardly the first one to notice and the only one to wonder about it)
c) hurried up and died...

Well, they were in last added bands for about 9 hours, and latest reviews is full of their reviews. And probably people link the band page.
