What possible reason could you have to dislike Eric Adam's vocals?

Maybe their sheer metalness overloads his senses and he finds it unpleasant.

As much as I hate Manowar, I have to say that disliking Eric Adams is illogical. The man is up there with the likes of Halford and Dickinson.

We actually made it a few posts before Lars Ulrich was mentioned. :) Still...LARS ULRICH!

I'm not very high on Novembers Doom's vocalist. He just comes off as cheesy, and his limited range clashes with all the expanding that band has done into melodeath. Just my opinion.

Kevin Talley from Daath, because he is just a total arrogant and a stupid asshole.

I'd also put Cradle of Filth's vocalist Dani in this category. I never liked the band's newer albums, but their albums in the 90s (especially the Vempire EP through Cruelty & the Beast) were pretty good actually. I just couldn't stand the vocals no matter how hard I tried. There's just nothing good about that guy's voice in my opinion. His lows suck, and so do his highs.

I disagree with that. His vocals only became shit after Cruelty. His highs were fucking intense on Dusk.

Totally agree, although he actually "played" the drums on And Justice For All... IMO.

Ditto; he actually put some good, consistent thought into what he was playing on that one record... and no others. Still, while the skill level on Justice wasn't anything a Lombardo or Hoglan couldn't pull off in a coma, still a pretty good performance by itself.

Not considered metal by many, and I say this a lot, but Periphery immediately came to mind. The whiny vocalist completely shits all over some really interesting songs. That's why I listen to the instrumental version only.

Another band that comes to mind is Nile. The reason being in Karl Sanders's leads, which have some of the ugliest sweeps I've ever heard. I love the band, but at the same time get annoyed with his soloing.

I couldn't agree more... with both statements. Spencer Sotello Ruins Periphery. And Karl's sweeps are pretty lazily done.
