The Lord Weird Slough Feg - Metal Blade 3CD boxset (Twilight of the Idols/Down Among the Deadmen/Traveller) - sold off some of my Slough Feg albums a couple of years ago (stupid move I know) so glad I got this. I love the fact all of those albums are jewelcases

and a white Toxic Holocaust shirt bought at the gig yesterday (Divine Fetus/Toxic Holocaust/Goatwhore).

Holy hell :lol: I was listening to Pale Divine while writing that.

The overall show was good - Goatwhore suprised me actually because live they seem even more thrashy and Motorhead-ish. That is a good change in my book.

I haven't, thanks for the rec. :) It seems to be more DSBM and less "nature/forest atmoblack", I'd prefer the later rather than the former.

I visited a music store called Waterloo Records in Austin, Texas and actually found a live recording of a Mayhem album called Live In Zeitz. On Metal Archives the limitation of this album is only 1000 copies. So I think it was worth the purchase.

I've seen Goatwhore open for High on Fire a few years back, and at a fest last year and both times they blew the joint up. HoF was so bad in comparison I walked out after a few songs...though I'm not sure if that is saying much. I only have Blood for the Master but they are a killer live band.

Got a couple of discs in the mail today, one of them a really great and apparently mostly unknown Canadian gem. Brought by Pain's The Dreamer's Will which features current and ex-members of Beyond Creation. Think dense Augury type prog death but more in line with Spawn of Possession's debut, with a flair for Beyond Creation's melodic edge. Sounds great?! That's because it actually is!

They're supporting Beyond Creation on their EU tour next November and I'm really itching to seem them. Ya'll should check this band! :headbang:
