Vampire - With Primeval Force (Deluxe Edition Digipak).

Sorry for the horrible quality of the photo. Great album though, it's got a very nice 80's feel.

Over the past few weeks:

Rotting Christ - Theogonia

Really enjoyed this one on first listen, exactly what I wanted and expected based off of the following albums that I have heard.

Novareign - Legends

I have listened to this one twice and it didn't really grab me like I was hoping for, I need to give it another couple of spins.

Necrophobic - Mark of the Necrogram

Just got this today and haven't had the chance to listen to it. I've been really excited for this one.

Ordered:

Black Death - Black Death, lp
Warlord - Holy Empire, lp

I knew classic Warlord stuff, but Black Death is all new to me. Some good shit, based on YouTube.

This thread really makes me wish I had a ton of money to throw at obscure LPs and whatnot.

Finally picked up a replacement copy of Dopesmoker.

That Sundays album is an all time classic, definitely their best. I love Harriet Wheeler's voice.

A great local place is going out of business. I snagged three CDs from there last night with them at 20% off. Will probably head back later.

I picked up:

Vital Remains: Dechristianize
Amon Amarth: Jomsviking
Katatonia: The Fall of Hearts

All on CD. Had been looking for the Vital Remains album for a while.

It's nice to see other folks here who appreciate Christian metal.

I wish They Wither made more tunes; that EP is really excellent. What do you think about the Cerimonial Sacred EP? I've been wavering on buying their albums or not.

I recently got the CDs of:

My Silent Wake - There Was Death (this will be in my top favorites for the year for sure)
The Slave Eye - Unto Hades (excellent black metal with members from Renascent; Bogdaniel, I'm guessing you'd really dig 'em)
Angra - Omni (It doesn't seem to be too popular here on MA but I'm really enjoying it and think it's one of their stronger albums)

Vision of God Records sells some CDs relatively cheap, so I took advantage of that. :) I'm not religious myself, but that never stopped me from enjoying music I like.

That They Wither EP kicks ass! They actually threw it in for free, along with the Brutal Cross CD.

I haven't heard the Cerimonial Sacred EP, but I'll have a listen soon. Definitely check out the album I got, some very good symphonic black metal; reminds me of early Dimmu.

Right on. VoGR has some good stuff though the They Wither EP and Vials Of Wrath album are definitely my favorites. The person who runs it is a great guy too. Enjoy!
