I can't stop buying shit. Seriously need to put the brakes on spending so much for a little while. Picked up the following earlier this week checking out a new shop in town:

Wolfbrigade - In Darkness You Feel No Regrets LP
I love pretty much all of Wolfbrigade/Wolfpack's releases, and this one is no exception. I picked up the French pressing for super cheap, and it's awesome.

Bathory - The Return...... LP
I always told myself that I'd buy this if I found it on vinyl for a reasonable price, and there it was. Couldn't resist.

GoatPenis/Nyogthaeblisz - Terroristic Onslaught of Humanicidal Chaos 7"
Picked this one up on a lark. Never heard of Nyogthaeblisz before, but I was pleasantly surprised by their reverb-y Black/Death sound. Plus my girlfriend hates it.

THEN, I wound up spending even more fucking money today at a different shop, where I snagged:

Wolfbrigade - A D-Beat Odyssey LP
Yet another used Wolfbrigade album. I'm hopeless.

Plague Dogs - self-titled LP
Never heard of this band before either, but the staff at the shop recommended it. Motorhead-influenced crust from Philly. Really good!

Iskra - The Terrorist Act EP 7"
As far as blackened crust goes, Iskra is right up my alley. I have the Bureval LP, and like this a hell of a lot too. It helps that it was in great condition and cheap, too.

Disfear/Doomriders - All Paths Lead to Nothing, There is Only Death 7"
Fuck what anyone says, I think Disfear kills it. I try to pick up all their releases when I find them, and again, the cheap used price helped convince me to buy it. Wish there were more than two songs, but I guess I wasn't expecting much more from a split 7".

This shit is putting me in the poorhouse.

SKR restocked the first Arkham Witch album, so of course I had to make a small order:

Arkham Witch - On Crom's Mountain
Demon Eyes - Garde A Vue

I'm still obsessively trying to collect everything Simon/Lamp of Thoth related, so I was thrilled to see Tim had restocked the Arkham Witch debut. I'm not sure if it will be able to live up to the developed and super-catchy songwriting of Legions of the Deep. Can't wait to find out.

And Demon Eyes are a newer find for me, I've been loving Rites of Chaos (1984 debut) and I think this band is a real sleeper in the old French heavy metal scene. They're a bit rougher around the edges than stuff like Sortilege and Blaspheme, but they still have that wonderful dungeon atmosphere.

I wanted to make the most of HMV in Oxford Street yesterday incase they are certainly doomed to fall. I had a £20 gift card saved for my trip to London but then administration happened and I can no longer use that for the time being. Bah! Despite that, I at least had some good finds while I was there:

Alice Cooper - Killer £3
Alice Cooper - School's Out £3
Dragon Guardian - Destiny of the Sacred Kingdom £9.75
Kyuss - Welcome to Sky Valley £4.50
Pagan's Mind - Heavenley Ecstasy £11.25
Riot - Thundersteel + The Privilege of Power £11.25
Sabaton - Carolus Rex £9
Threshold - March of Progress £9
Yes - The Yes Album £3
Yes - Fragile £4.50
Yes - 90125 £3

Also getting Luca Turilli's Rhapsody's Ascending to Infinity and Satan's Host's By the Hands of the Devil for a fiver each on Play.com so I appreciate the discussions about that website in this thread, otherwise I wouldn't have checked at all.

Dawn - Naer solen... blah blah blah (1993(?)reissue)

The original print is from 94 and has red letters, the 98 reissue has them in yellow. ;)

I got a couple of CDs in the mail today, the last Skepticism disc I missed in my collection (The Process Of Farmakon EP) and the second Gigandhi album. Now I just need to get Rafflesia somewhere along the highway.
