It's on their MySpace

I didn't even know they were coming out with a new album. One of the few tech bands I could stand so I might look into this.

Jarzombek can do no wrong. This song rules. Can't wait to hear more.

Yeah thanks for that, if it weren't for these guys we'd pretty much have no Atheist. Their first two albums are killer, too, download away, young metalheads!

This is a prime example of why Ron Jarzombek is one of my favorite guitarists. The riffing on this song is fucking awesome. Watchtower is such a great band, I'm really interested to hear their new album.

Thank you OP, that was an awesome surprise! You know, they talked about a new album back in 2000. Said it could be years... Though now there is hope again:

WATCHTOWER are confirmed to co-headline the 13th edition of Germany's Keep It True Festival, set to take place in April 2010. It will be the band's first European show in some 6 years. Jason, Ron, Rick and Doug also re-commence work on 'Mathematics' with a view toward a 2010 release.

Then there's the lyrics. I know the planned album title, but even so. And then Alan is back as well. Not to mention that the song is very listenable in deed. All combined that makes for some really great news!

Ron Jarzombek is one of the best riffers out there, this is thrashy without sounding like lame retro-thrash, it is technical without being wankerish, it is everything that he does well, that other bands try to do now, but better.

You know, we've been hearing about this for so long, I never really expected it to get made. Figured they'd split up altogether, or start losing members one-by-one and holding "auditions" that would never result in anyone new.

Glad to see I've been proven wrong.

Nothing really wrong with this. The song sounds promising. I just wished Tecchio could still pull off those high-pitched vocals like he used to. However, I'm pretty thrilled about this as Watchtower remains one of my favourite bands ever. I guess they're going to make a new album or something then?

Since Alan Tecchio joined this year and they already have a song out, I'm assuming Jason McMaster was the cause for delay? Ron Jarzombek would mention "someone" not putting their heart into the project now and then.

Apparently Alan Tecchio is back on vocals, sweet! I'm digging the song so far, but the production is a bit too tight in my opinion, they lost that touch of crazy that made them so awesome in the 80s. Definitely better than I was expecting (besides that I stopped expecting anything long ago ).

Now we just need Toxik to make some more music, and we'd have a nice prog thrash revival.

Indeed, they are. I was exchanging e-mails with the drummer for a while, some time ago. Good guy. I can't wait to hear new shit, as Toxik are among my favorite bands.

This new Watchtower song is fucking beautiful as well. I can't wait for an entire record.

Really? That's pretty awesome. I haven't been able to stop listening to Think This for the past month or so.

Love the riffing, but I'd prefer some new Spastic Ink instead because I've unfortunately never been a fan of Tecchio's vocals.
