I've got a question about
Macabre's song off Gloom (1989) called Green River Killer, He's Still Out There.

With the song that had came out in 1989, it's titled Green River Killer (He's Still Out There) they speak of Gary Ridgeway (for anyone who knows of killers.)

Thing is that Ridgeway wasn't convicited of the killings until 2001. With there song, on iTunes and Wikipedia it actually lists him in brackets after the song name as the official song name.
How did Macabre know he did it if it came out in 1989?

My girl who is into killers too says everybody by 1989 knew he was the killer but there was no proof. Did Macabre assume he was the guy who did it before the conviction? I didn't think the album got released then, I thought it was much earlier.

I don't think "Green River Killer, He's Still Out There [Gary Ridgeway] " is the official title. I think some sites add that. You'll notice that the title featured on Gloom's page here is "Green River Killer, He's Still Out There". Some sites add the name of the convicted killer after the song title. It's not just with that song, either. Other Macabre songs get the same treatment, I've noticed.

edit: I checked wiki just now, and they give most Macabre songs this treatment

Yeah they had no clue it was Gary Ridgeway in that time so they just added it to the end so you can know what the songs are about in the same way that Church of Misery does with all of their songs.
