Leaked today.
Who's heard it already? Thoughts? Who's looking forward to it?
Personally, I think it sounds amazing. Definitely an improvement over Theogonia, which I really dug.

Really now? I couldn't find it anywhere on the interweb. Besides, the official release date is today. Theogonia was a solid release, this new album could be in the similar vein. I'll check it out soon!

using a site such as filestube.com locates it pretty easily. And yes it defintely sounds a lot like theogonia in terms of the tremelo guitars, but i'm hearing a lot of greek ethnic elements as well...kind of has to be heard to be understood. really good though, from my first impression

It sounds okay, but so far I'd say Noctis Era is the best track. I do love the almost martial, marching blast-beats utilised, as with Theogonia.

Defintely not black metal, something like Greek Occult Dark Metal ;)

Alright, so I see mixed opinions cropping up on almost all the internet boards. I got the album now and it's decent. Carrying on from where Theogonia left off. Some of the riffs are kickass. It definitely isn't a disappointment.

I'm listening to it for the first time now and have to say that it is pretty solid, but I really can't see this topping Theogonia. The middle eastern sounding instrumentation and ethnic elements like the female vocals don't seem to blend with everything else as well as they did in Theogonia, but overall, it's still fairly impressive.

I'm listening to the album right now...the guitar riffs are just like always ...awesome.
but that awful choir sounds like pure dissonance.
did anyone else notice that "Demonon Vrosis"(from aealo) and threnody(from theogonia) has the same guitar riff??
even "dub-sag-ta-ke" sounds familiar to me...but I'm not sure about this.

^Yeah, threnody and Demonon do sound fucking similar. Dub-sag-ta-ke sounds a bit like Keravnos Kivernitos to me.

I gotta say, I don't really think this is that good an album. The choir sounds great (in that odd dissonant way that eastern style singing does) but the "ethnic instruments just don't mix very well. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed.

I like it better than Theogonia. The folk touches are great, though I can't say I'm very fond of the last track . . .

Nemtheanga sounds awesome as always.

I was disappointed. Generaly lacklustre, and that woman needs to quit whining.

It's still good, slightly disappointed that they didn't top Theogonia but that is not to say I do not think well of this album. Perhaps it needs more time to sink in.
