I stumbled across this German band somewhere and fell in love. Am I the only one here who appreciates melodic black metal with a dose of gothica?

I'm not quite sure what to think. Some of it was damn good, while other parts at the same time were completely atrocious. I guess it'd qualify for background music.

I love Lyfthrasyr so much. While their second album is decent (Slaves in Silent Devotion!), every song on their first is a complete masterpiece. I advise buying their debut immediately.

Can you be specific as to which parts you dislike? I'm just trying to get a feel for what people think about them.
