I'm trying to figure out if the Avsky from IXXI and Ondskapt has any connection to the black metal band Avsky or the dark ambient Avsky that released Silent Decay. I'm trying to clean up some stuff on Discogs, I thought the bass player is a 3rd unrelated guy but some people seem to think he's part of or is one of these bands. Thanks for any help.

It could be true, but avsky is just a word in Norwegian and Swedish (disgust) so it's not improbable that the name is used by multiple artists and bands.
