Asva have posted a new track on their myspace. If you're not familiar, they're a drone band led by old Burning Witch bassist Stuart Dahlquist with Trey Spruance from Mr. Bungle and Secret Chiefs 3. The track is called 'A Bomb In That Suitcase' from the upcoming album 'Presences of Abscences'. It sounds a lot like typical Asva with heavy reliance on keyboards and organs with heavy basslines. It's only on for 3.29 on the website, so I kind of hope it's just an edit so it can fit on the Myspace player.

Asva's last album was fucking captivating. I've been waiting to see what they do next and it seems like a good, though un-innovative endeavor.

Just an FYI, Trey is no longer in the band. The group fell apart after the last album and Stuart is working with a new guy (sounds like that band is just Stuart and this new guy, who is the drummer). The new track sounds good. Looking forward to the new album.
