Kamelot - Lunar Sanctum

Man, why couldn't the whole album be similiar to this? Really, the band really created an atmospheric monster of a track here. You've got Khan going crazy with his vocals, the rocking riffs and a catchy chorus that despite it's catchiness doesn't try too hard and comes off natural. The last two minutes are probably my favourite of this song. Such a strong track.

I absolutely love it, the twisted tremolo riffs and tasteful synths.
I'm a sucker for unconventional Black Metal.
I actually discovered it quite recently and its been getting regular spins, in little doses though, not been able to get through it in one sitting.

Weapon - Vanguard of the Morning Star
I didn't quite like the first track from their 2012 album, but a minute into the second track and I am sold! Think Inquisition but more deathmetal inclined. Brilliant stuff.

Yeah, I like the entire "Away from the haunts of men" album. It has such a cold and evil atmosphere :evil:
I haven't listenend to the second album yet, I should change this..

Avenger - Feast Of Anger / Joy Of Despair

I really like this band and how original, ethnic, groovy and cool their approach to death/black is. Plus they sing in Czech and that factor alone gives them a special flavour. What's funny is that they've been putting out albums for 15 years and few people seem to have noticed them along the way. Which is odd considering their immense quality.

Not my favorite record by these dudes, but this song is definitely a highlight in AN's career. The sample at the beginning is especially representative of the band's attitude, too :lol:
