Slayer - South of Heaven

If only the combined power of everyone listening to Slayer at once could bring Jeff back. R.I.P.

Desecresy - Arches of Entropy

With a more balanced production this would have been almost as good as the 'Doom Skeptron'

Funeral Mist - Living Temples

We're going to listen to a hefty pile of Slayer vinyl at a friend's house tomorrow; until then, I haven't got any Slayer in my collection. I think I might take steps to remedy that fact.

Klaus Schulze - Shadows Of Ignorance

This is just amazing, evocative, beautiful... reminds me that I still have to finish the third book. Lately I just don't find the time to read :(

Slayer - Die by the Sword

All cred to Jeff for this. One of my favorites. :headbang:

Nocturnus – Climate Controller

And R.I.P. Jeff Hanneman. Angel of Death has always been my favorite Slayer song.

Antediluvian- Logos

Just got the new album in mail. I've yet to see any real promotion for it; I remember when "Through the Cervix..." came out PL was hyping the hell out of it. Anyways, first impressions: So far, so great. Sharper, more unhinged and less muddy sounding than the first album, but no less evil. We might have a top 10 of 2013 contender here.

Chaos Echœs - Rise

Huge, bombastic doom/death metal here. Fans of modern Celtic Frost and Triptykon might want to check this out.

Scanner ~ Hypertrace

Just started the album, almost done with "Warp 7", delicious riffs, let's see where this takes me :)

EDIT: Wow, noone posted on this thread in the time it took me to listen to the album, surprising. Any way, that album was fucking awesome, great riffs, loved the vocals. And the sci-fi theme was cool.

"There's a fight on the hill
Even time is standing still
But they never will know the score" :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: <-- This album definitely deserved more than one lol

Satan - Twenty Twenty Five

I actually like this better than Court in the Act, I'll just go ahead and admit it.

Scanner - RMU

Probably kinda under-appreciated band.

For obvious reasons.

I have no idea what to make of this, to be honest.

Binah - A New Rotten Dawn

A fucking mesmirising, crushing and devastating morass of HUGE riffs and murky atmosphere. One of the best DM albums in recent years.

Maximum Oversatan - Reapers Night, off Too Evil For Hell

Not the kind of stuff I usually listen to, but this is solid. These guys sure love the first wave of black metal.

Solstice – Survival Reaction

Good stuff. Wasn't aware Rob Barrett from Cannibal Corpse did vocals and guitar on this album until I watched the Centuries of Torment DVD.

Summoning-Old Morning's Dawn

I love the orchestral vocals and the sample is simple and beautiful. Great stuff so far.

2013 may be the best year for this music I've heard thus far.

Slayer - Dead Skin Mask

I heard SitA last of the classic albums. Fell in love instantly. It's kinda doomy, for a Slayer album I mean.

Slayer - Seasons In The Abyss

AS YOU GO INSANE GO INSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANEEEEE
