I'm basically looking for depressive Black Metal and Black/Doom Metal bands in the vain of Forgotten Tomb, Dolorian, Silencer and Thy Light. I prefer good or the very least decent production over the usual raw sloppy Black Metal production and lyrics in English. Solos are not a must but it certainly would help. Bands that implement lots of melody into their music are a priority but not necessary if they meet the previous "requirements".
