Some of you probably know them,in my opinion probably the greatest thing to come out of Japan since Kamakazis. For those of you that don't they were one of the first Japanese metal bands, they have one of the greatest guitarists and riff writers ever Akira Takasaki and they have album after album of amazing song/riff based traditional/Glam Metal. What Do you think of Loudness

Loudness is alright. The vocals get on my nerves sometimes and a lot of their stuff I find rather bland but they have some pretty catchy tunes.

Have you heard Anthem?

I like Loudness, the thick Japanese vocals have a certain charm to them, and Akira is an awesome guitarist.

To be honest the only thing I've really heard is "Thunder in the East" (Why haven't I listened to more? perhaps, I am crazy...). However, that album would make my top 25 all time albums. It's seriously, very, very, good.

"The Lines are Down" is also one of my favorite songs (and has a great solo)....

I've only heard a couple of their songs, and that's only because I watch Metal Mania on VH1 Classic. From the 2-3 songs I've heard they are pretty good.

I do have Anthem's "Hunting Time" on CDR and it's pretty good.
