Wikipedia and MA say (a)
Original Anaal Nathrakh website says (b)

Anyone has any clue about the real title?

The band themselves probably don't even know... I guess that's a drawback of having a British English accent

I remember checking The Codex Necro on MA once and the track name had "Ordnance" instead of "Audnance" at the end, dunno how that changed.

"Audnance" doesn't make sense anyway.

Yeah, except that it says "Audnance" on both The Codex Necro and the Rage of Achilles version of Total Fucking Necro. Audnance isn't even a word as far as I know. If it is a mistake it's interesting that it happened with multiple professional pressings. Anybody have the original Total Fucking Necro demo?

Did the band do the layout? or was it the Rec. Label/Graphic Artist who did the layout?

But what the hell's an "Audnance"? I mean, you can just about picture a Technogoat, or a Necrogeddon, and they're obviously both compound words... but "Audnance"? Doesn't sound right.

"Technogoat" and "necrogeddon" are not words, either, so maybe "audnance" is a hybrid of two words, as well, like "audience" and "nuisance" (although that sounds quite gay

).

EDIT: Yeah, you mentioned they were compound words, so I guess I'm throwing up an example of how "audnance" could be a similar amalgamation.

Most places say Audnance, go with that.

Perhaps the band just wanted to be special with their spelling.

My first pressing says "Audnance". As for what it means, I always assumed it was a play on words for "aural" and "ordnance".

Good call. I didn't even think about that when I was looking at the CDs.

Both albums credit "Mick Kenney" with the layout. I'll assume we all know who that is...
