I thought about adding this band to the Archives but I can't seem to find much info about them. Southern Lord has reissued their first two albums on a double CD or LP (Hart Gore and Mean Man's Dream). It appears to be all instrumental, and I would describe the sound as thrash/sludge/doom from the mid- to late-80's from what I could tell. The music is really great. Anyone here know more than I do, or actually own the orginals?

Go to Southern Lord website and see what they have available. That label is one of the best American metal ones around so they're pretty reliable with who they sign and issuing alot of those artists.

This is the site where I first read about em:

http://truepunkmetal.blogspot.com/2007/ ... -1989.html

All I knew going into it was they were an instrumental Melvins-esque band with the drummer of thrashcore pioneers Pandemonium and were supposedly a big influence on Man is the Bastard. Stoked Southern Lord took an interest in a reissue.
