Before the rain of beatings and thread locking begins, here is an actual answer to the question you should have just Googled:

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=mallcore

Wow, had no idea that was in there.

Edit: "downturned guitars", huh?...does that mean they don't ever play on eleven?

And most mallcore bands do not have poor rhythm sections .. it's their job to distract from the horrendously stultifying riffs.

It's funny, when I was growing up, shit like Suicidal Tendencies first album wasn't what kids of the day's mallcores listened to, which was hair metal.

Oh, I believe it. There's not much "core" in mallcore.

It's just weird because kids that hung at the mall back in the early 80's weren't concerned with angst lyrics like hardcore punk for the most part. Which it seems this penned newer term "mallcore" leans towards. Interesting I guess.

I have no idea, but I plan to use that term in future situations: "look at that kid over there and his super mallcore pockets!! What's up with that?!"

Some of us are behind corporate proxy servers and do not have the luxury of viewing urban dictionary...

Nu metal's fashion was wearing those really, really baggy jeans with the huge ass pockets. I think the brand/company was Jencko or something like that; all the fags like Korn wore them and then the fans took it to a new level by having unneccessarily large pockets.
