I know many people have many definitions of what makes something heavy. What does heaviness mean to you guys? What makes something the "heaviest" (I see many people describe certain albums as the heaviest)
Is it one singular definition? is it weight? is it how loud something is? How noisy? How aggressive? How brutal? How extreme? How chaotic? How dissonant? How intense? How distorted? How abrasive? How raw /rough and hard it sounds? How much the music grooves and incites an angry response? How riffy? How dark ? how emotional it is?
I notice many people thing all these descriptors are different form each other, but then I see many other people all lump all these labels with "Heavy" music.
Are all these things separate from each other or does the word HEAVY encompass all these things?

I personally lean towards the latter, in my opinion the heaviest music encompasses all these things, or leans very extreme in one aspect.
