Really like the song, especially the last minute. I've not kept up with this band...this is much more interesting than what I remember hearing years ago.

I am beyond excited. If I have to pick The Vision Bleak is my favourite band. So far all of their records are in the 85% and higher range, so I can’t wait to hear what they did with this one. These two tracks are a bit short so I hope there will be longer tracks as well. They already sound like a clear continuation of The Unknown though.

New track is here.

I like what I hear, even if it’s not their best work. There is a sense of urgency in the opening of the song. I think this comes from the entire album being a single track and it all flowing from one to the next.

Anyone else who is as happy as I am with the new record? It took me two spins to appreciate the “one track” approach they have here, now I love it. Great sound and production as always, which is one of the stand out qualities.

There is diversity on this record - the more old school Rue d’Auseil and the second half with tracks that would have fit on The Unknown. I love the harp that plays throughout Mother of Toads, and how they have adapted the words of C.A. Smith to music as if it The Vision Bleak had written lyrics.

I will be playing this many more times in the near future, excellent stuff.

Good to hear people are enjoying the album. Will be getting this as part of my weekly album purchase. Fortunately I'll be doing Bandcamp digital so that allows me to have the album divided into multiple tracks.

Damn, they still got that style of "metal meets Victorian horror" down pat. Killer artwork and lyrics as well. They've been on a roll since Set Sail to Mistery. I'm not usually a fan of one-track albums, but this sounds great so far.
