Accept will release a new album via Nuclear Blast, recorded with Andy Sneap, early next year.

Your lyrics are bad and you should feel bad. Seriously though, who the fuck comes up with those lyrics, even I with my broken English can do better than this shit.
Nice rocking tune tho. Accept being accept is something I'm completely OK with.

Oh dear who penned those magnificent lyrics? Cringeworthy video concept too - let’s rip off Joker and put him in Alice Cooper style make up.

I'm not really feeling this one. I also don't get the video, as the song clearly isn't related to living in a society.

I approve. I would have approved much more if I hadn't seen the video. Trying to forget it now.

I mean I assume it'll sound similar to the past ones, even with all the lineup changes, it's still driven by Wolf (esp now with Peter out) and produced by Sneap so vOv

This was OK, but really not terribly exciting. I guess you can't expect them to keep breaking new ground this late though. Mark Tornillo sounded good but the music seemed a bit restrained.

The beginning made me think about old Scorpions. Otherwise it made me think about Accept's 'Blind Rage' album... Which is one of my faves from 'em. So, having high hopes for this album!

More Accept with Tornillo. I guess it's not a bad thing if you like it. I somehow stopped caring after Stalingrad. I got the last two also, but they didn't made an impression. Balls to the Wall and Metal Heart is what I've been listening lately.

Just 2 days a go,I was watching Accept at Wacken 2017,and thinking to myself, are there any founding/long term members in the band now?
I had to look on Wikipedia to see what the current line up is.
So it looks like Wolf Hoffman is the only reason they can still be called Accept.
I have no problem with Udo Dirkschneider being out and more than likely never ever returning(I actually own more U.D.O. albums than I do Accept)but I was unaware that Peter Baltes had left.
What are Herman Frank and Jorg Fischer doing?

This song gives me the creeps. No idea why, it's just not 'right' or something.

And I listen to King Diamond etc, so not those sort of creeps. It just felt all wrong watching that.

Meanwhile UDO has nailed it, the German Army Band album is brilliant. This made me feel unsettled and anxious.

There is nothing new here, and I should probably have a problem with that, but I actually love it. It just hits me in the right place. The last album had a boring single so I never checked it out but this one I'm intrigued by instantly.

Yep, this sure is a late-era Accept song all right.

Aside from two decent tracks, The Rise of Chaos was a hunk of garbage, so I was actually a little excited with the lineup changes hoping it'd inject some new life. Judging by that new track uh... yeah, I might have to pass on this completely. BoTN, Stalingrad, and Blind Rage are some of my favorite heavy metal albums of the 10s, so it's sad to see they've overstayed their welcome and gotten so stale.

OK verse, bad chorus. Mediocre overall.

This remains the best thing Accept has done with Tornillo.

I dunno, man. This seems like it'll be as underwhelming as Blind Rage was. Maybe also The Rise of Chaos, but at least that album had great tunes in "Analog Man" and "Koolaid."

Some of those titles are making me wonder when Accept started turning into Anvil. I imagine it'll still be enjoyable but I can't expect too much earthshattering from them at this point.

Everything after Stalingrad has done nothing for me. That album and Blood of the Nations though? Great stuff. I will give this a listen anyway.

As a huge fan of this band some thirty-plus years ago when I was a wee metal lad, I still get a twinge of nostalgia for them. But this "Undertaker" song sounds like, well it sounds like Accept trying to be Accept, if that makes sense. It has that classic typical Accept driving beat, the classic Wolfhoffmanisms in the guitar leads, a few of those "Whoooa-oooh-oohhh" backing vocals you hear in a lot of classic Accept tunes, and all it needs is Udo and you'd have Instant Dehydrated Accept; Just Add Water. The video is cheezy, the song is okay but not earth-shatteringly great, and the whole thing just seems like one old guy left from an old band desperately trying to stay relevant, but yet has nothing new to say.

I liked Blind Rage, but that was only a mild improvement over the previous two for me - they were all just solid. The Sneap production just sort of neutered it and the style isn't one that can hold up for this long. Dumb song titles too; like really shitty actually.

Blood of the Nations still stands in my top 5 comeback albums for a classic metal band. I still listen to that album a lot. Stalingrad doesn't sit quite as well with me but it's still a very strong record. Then Blind Rage I initially wasn't too blown away by, but it was a grower for sure for me; in all honesty it sits right behind Blood of the Nations for me as far as Accept's reunion stuff goes. The Rise of Chaos, 2 or 3 songs notwithstanding, is still very disappointing to me; just Accept going through the motions, and based on the 2 singles so far, this one may not be faring too much better.

Wolf Hoffmann said ther's new songwriter blood in the band now, so maybe there's hope. I enjoyed 'Blinrd Rage' a lot, but 'The Rise of Chaos', never much.

I haven't listened to an Accept album since Stalingrad, but the title track for this album is pretty good. Definitely nothing amazing, but just a well crafted, well executed, straightforward song. "The Undertaker" however, is pretty boring. Maybe I'll give this one a try.

aren't people with smartphones a lot like zombies????????????

i don't know why bands still insist on writing lyrics on that subject. i cant think of a single time it's come across as anything other than out-of-touch and lame.

Yep, this sure is a late era Accept album all right. Still pretty decent but I'm feeling those diminishing returns.

Definitely diminishing returns, but "Overnight Sensation" is true to the spirit of BTTW era Accept.

Definitely not a bad album and it has its share of bangers. I've only heard it once so maybe my opinion will change with repeated listens but I'd say it's about as good as the last one.

They don't mention kid's at all. This "issue" (if you think it's one) affects young n old and everything in between these days. They see it as a problem and many others do too.

Get real. This topic is an “old man shouts at clouds” type of one. The old always find something to complain about the young, and this happens throughout history again and again. I’m almost 40 and I think this is cringy asf.

Both videos are fucking LAUGHABLE. The Undertaker one is just sad. I mean, Phoenix' Joker? Seriously? Old as fuck men complaining about people using cellphones too much? Like when they were young and their fathers said the same to them when TV and rock on radio got massive, right? Fucking Pathetic.

Oh, and the music is the same shit they've always done. What's the point on doing albums that try their best to sound like something that already exists?

Oh yeah no argument here dude. I couldn't give a fuck if people wanna "turn into Zombies". I also don't have a problem with them writing about it either.
Both songs and videos are lame as fuck.
