Well shit, this is some good stuff. Thanks for the heads-up. Definitely looking forward to the full album.

Let's cut the crap and go straight to discussing the nature of the object at the centre of the painting.

It's mother bird with its beak opened up, but I still laughed too hard at your guess. :D

Didn't want to leave without making a comment to the song, it's alright but nothing special. I like the vibe it tries to evoke but I'm doubtful of the end result. Maybe I'll be surprised.

Supergroup or just Kam Lee and some other dude? I hope it features plenty of Kam Lee vocal wipeouts and baby vocal wipeouts.

Super group argh. Hate it when they advertise a band as a super group. As if they should be praised just right away even though often it's mediocre. But people listen to it because a few members were in a band that was any good decades ago.

I'm not saying this album/band is terrible, but it doesn't get my attention more than another demo/debut from another band.

Kam Lee's projects are always those bands that I wish I liked more than I actually do. Even as somebody with a basic interest in death metal, I really enjoy From Beyond but nothing else I've heard from him ever does it for me.

Considering how often such projects end up being underwhelming to say the least I'd say advertising anything as a "supergroup" is a rather unwise marketing strategy by now. Call it collaboration or something else so most of us won't roll their eyes and groan before hearing a note.

"Supergroup"? No. This is not a supergroup. One Swedish guy and an ancient has-been of the death metal scene does not a supergroup make. This is average at best.

Who actually is Kam Lee? From what I gather he is a very average, but strangely prolific death metal vocalist. Seems like the equivalent of being a highly sought after scaffold assembler in the trade world :???:

He was Death's original vocalist (back when they were called Mantas), and some people cite him as a pioneer or outright inventor of the death growl. There's a lot of debate on that though, just like every "first" lol

He's sounding good here, the start of Corvus Corax Crown is pretty dope. Really having trouble stomaching that shitty brickwalled production though.

Just listen to Massacre's "Tyrants Of Death" compilation with the two 1986 demo's and live material. If that doesn't convince anyone of his place in metal history nothing will. Highly influential vocal's would be an understatement. And "From Beyond" would be in my top 20 death metal albums. However, since then nothings interested me too much, including this project.

Well he did get the Riddick brothers into playing metal again, that's something at least.
