I'm sure if you went on YouTube and typed in "'insert sub-genre here' full album" you will probably find a lot of channels. And it is likely all to be underground, because if people were doing this with more well known bands they would be getting copyright strikes left and right and wouldn't be able to exist.

A collection of great new power and speed metal.

No point in subscribing to either of them as they're all eventually deleted sooner or later for copyright . Better just buy or bit torrent albums that you like.

Some of these channels have been around for quite a while and I think many request band/label permission first before putting up full albums. I know Black Metal Promotion, Slam Worldwide and Stoned Meadow of Doom have been operating for a good length of time without much issues.

The Rate & Obscure Metal Archives is my favorite, especially since a lot of the material can't be found on Bandcamp or easy to come by due to the rarity.

I usually hate using YouTube as a discovery tool, but because there are so few food sources for keeping up with new power metal I've found that the Unknown Power Metal channel fills a void for me: https://www.youtube.com/user/UPMChannel/videos

they automatically insert ads after every song. has become a bit of an annoyance

Most bands endorse these channels due to the exposure they provide. It's gotten to the point where certain channels like Stoned Meadow of Doom abuse this power to coerce the bands into giving them the exclusive right to stream their music on YouTube while also profiting from the ad revenue and festival application fees. Most of these channels are legit but SMOD is shady as fuck.

that's a long convo... I can name specific bands who approached youtube channels themselves and asked to have their music featured on them, then when the channel owner(s) obliged, their accounts were terminated because their record label filed copyright claims :/ it's a s**t world.
