Are some of the songs on Motorhead's Another Perfect Day performed live? I know It's kind of a dumb question but I just want to make sure.

Setlist.fm is very helpful for this situation.

Unfortunately Motorhead stuck to the same setlist for years. There were the mandatory hits (Overkill, Ace of Spades) but there were a lot of songs they stuck with forever that I didn't care for (Shoot You in the Back, Over the Top, Going to Brazil). He rarely played newer material even though they were issuing a new album every two years. I love Runaround Man from Motorizer but there are no known live versions.

So does that mean there are live songs on Another Perfect Day?

If you're interested in live versions of APD material, this reissue has a full live set from that era as a bonus: https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Mot%C3%B6rhead/Another_Perfect_Day/428568

'I Got Mine' and 'Dancing on Your Grave' were played regularly from - I think - the Hammered tour onwards (if not, it started with Inferno). Prior to that they played 'Shine' a bit and later on the even played the title track live (perhaps it was dropped as the tour went on, but I remember being very, very surprised in Glasgow when they played it in 2011). As far as I'm aware, they never played those songs with the twin guitar line-up (a shame really, since there are more than enough guitar parts there to have kept them busy).

Everyone basically likes the album nowadays, all proper Motorhead fans do, at least. :P

The question appears to be "were any of the songs recorded for the album actually live recordings rather than studio recordings", not "did Motorhead ever play these songs live".

Yeah, my original post was completely ignored but you were an exception.

Your OP was ambiguous and you didn't bother to correct anyone so...

Apart from bonus tracks it doesn't seem like any of the tracks on the album were recorded live.

Yup, and the question could have also been answered with; "No, they are not performed live since the band has split up due to the death of Lemmy".

Very ambiguous indeed...

And also the meaning he intended to impart is an odd question, since very few bands do something like that.

I don't see how it was ambiguous. Fact of the matter is I asked if there were any live songs on the original Motorhead's Another Perfect Day album. Nothing else.

It was definitely ambiguous. A way to be clearer: "Are any of the recordings on the album live recordings"? This differentiates it from "Were/are any songs from that album ever played in a live setting?"

I'm also a native English speaker myself. It seems like there is a communication breakdown. Maybe you are not reading between the lines. I don't know.

Oh shit, my bad hahaha...I just got why the post was ambiguous. Y'all were right. There is definitely a double meaning.
