1. Fire & Forgive
2. Demons Are A Girl‘s Best Friend
3. Killers With The Cross
4. Incense And Iron
5. Where The Wild Wolves Have Gone
6. Stossgebet
7. Nightside Of Siberia
8. The Sacrament Of Sin
9. Venom Of Venus
10. Nighttime Rebel
11. Fist By Fist (Sacralize Or Strike)
bonus song: 12. Midnight Madonna

Matthew Greywolf comments:
"We're proud to finally unveil the album title along with the amazing cover artwork of "THE SACRAMENT OF SIN". While we are in the final stage of mixing the album at Fascination Street Studios we can't wait to unleash this monster and celebrate this new chapter together with all of you - expect nothing less but a mass more intense than ever, bringing some new elements to the liturgy while being as wild and wolfish as it could!"

Slightly excited, not expecting anything different from them but I enjoyed Blessed and Possessed.

Sounds like fun, as usual.

I liked some of the songs on the last album but it was basically the exact same album as "Preachers of the Night", which itself was basically the exact same album as "Blood of the Saints". To their credit, the albums are literally so similar there's basically no way it wasn't at least partially intentional (I mean just compare "We Are the Wild" to "Sacred & Wild"), but still, it would be nice if Powerwolf did literally anything else but that . Cover art looks totally different from their usual style, a good sign I guess...

Yup, on that point, I can already hear how the opener will sound: "Fi-re and for-give! For-give! For-give! Fi-re and for-give!"

I love this band. Just fun nothing too serious, metal should be this way too many bands just take themselves way too serious these days.

I bet you the first track will open with a Latin chant.

Powerwolf are awesome. In that throwaway Sabaton-esque style (though Sabaton are waaaay better) which you may not listen to for more than a few weeks but will probably enjoy the fuck out of during that time..

I actually thought Blessed & Possessed was Powerwolf's best album so I'll be happy if its something similar.

Whoa now. Lets not get ahead of ourselves about Sabaton.

I like it. It's fine. It's not gonna set the world on fire, but I wasn't exactly expecting it to.

It definitely sounded a little different from their normal sound. Nothing special, but if I can find the album cheap, I might buy it.

Opening track's just been released:

It's pretty much exactly what I was expecting, which isn't exactly a bad thing.

This is much better than the previous song, but jesus this is a combination of Amen and Attack and Sanctified with Dynamite.

Me, regarding any band ever: Stop resting on your laurels. There's a difference between playing to your strengths and just retreading old ground over and over again. If you can't evolve in some way as songwriters, even if that only means getting tighter and writing stronger songs, then I'm going to lose interest pretty quickly.

Me, regarding Powerwolf: Hey man go ahead and write Lupus Dei for the sixth time I don't care I'll buy it twice.
