It's time that we show the other half of the H-Team some respect. Gary gets all the accolades and for good reason but let's not forget about the contributions that Rick made. The guy was/is a beast on guitar. His solos are one of my favorite things about Exodus. We know about his struggles but let's not focus on that. Keep it positive people!

Totally agree! I really miss all the little flourishes he put in Exodus' music, and I think his solos were by far the best of the H-team.

Great guitarist. He plays with Exodus now and then, still:

I appreciate Rick Hunolt. Good topic.

The two songs on "Bonded" that he co-wrote are two of my favorites: "A Lesson In Violence" and "Deliver Us To Evil." Interesting to note that the Exodus album he had the biggest hand in writing was the reviled "Force Of Habit." (An album I happen to really enjoy.)

Hard to beat the H-Team when it came to stage presence. They commanded the stage and ran around like total lunatics.

For me, he was the KK Downing of the H-team. He might have been less important as far as songwriting was concerned (again, I can't remember off the top of my head) but his leads were usually superior and wilder than Holt's. Excellent guitarist; one of the really "natural" sounding guys when it came to the whammy bar.

I love the guitar details, harmonies, fills, etc. in songs like "Like Father Like Son", "Only Death Decides", and "Chemi-Kill". That is the biggest thing that Exodus is missing these days.
