Also hopefully they take it as a sign they're not meant to make more albums.

Embarrassingly dumb question: Does this band use a drum machine?

While the drum sound of their debut made that album unlistenable for me, Gastromicon was one of my favorites of that year. Spun it frequently and think these guys have a unique brand and recognizable brand of melodeath.

This track sounds like the things that made me love Gastromicon, but a bit more polished.

This track was awesome. Slugdge has quickly become one of my favorite bands after their previous 2 albums.

This is sounding so sick. I never bothered checking these guys out cause I thought they were just gonna be a boring sludge band.

For a while I was reluctant to check them out because I assumed they were a joke band, mainly existing to twist well known song titles to force a slug-related reference. Figured I'd laugh at "Salters of Madness" and move on. But it turns out they create ambitious well-written songs that just happen to have a humorous edge.

Definitely gonna take some time to get into, but I've been digging it thus far!
